New Radiation Ringtones
by admin on Jan.19, 2010, under Uncategorized
Since I love the idea of cell phone radiation being a ringtone, I developed a new synthesizer patch for myself based on the interference sound you hear in speakers when you get a cell phone call. I started writing some new ringtones with it and you can check them out here or get them directly to your phone by texting SPAGNOLA to 69937 (MYXER). The ringtone that was included on Android phones, Radiation by Spagnola, is 99 cents and these new ones are free! I plan on writing more in the future so check back for updates.
Radiation on The Nexus One
by admin on Jan.06, 2010, under Uncategorized
Today, Google released its newest phone, the Nexus One. It comes with 13 preloaded songs in its music player. Radiation from my album, Free of Style, is one of them! The Nexus One also allows you to set “Radiation by Spagnola” as your ringtone. Which you should. Because it’s awesome. Also because it’s appropriate… The song’s beat is created with the sound you hear when a cell phone call is interfering with speakers.
If you don’t happen to have one of the coolest phones on the planet yet, you can get the ringtone here or download the song here:

No longer am I listed as “Pop/Acoustic/Rock” on MySpace. I’m now official a “Pop/Club/Electro” artist. Check out my profile to see the new look and listen to three songs from my upcoming album, The Ego. Feel free to be my friend while you’re there.
The New Site Has Launched and The Ego Is Coming
by admin on Dec.13, 2009, under Uncategorized
Welcome to my official music page. I’ve just launched an all new design in anticipation for my 4th album, The Ego. I’m currently in LA working at The Mastering Lab to finish it up. Like… right now. Really. Sitting in the studio with the engineer and I’m so psyched! It sounds absolutely, ridiculously, unbelievably awesome. And that’s an unbiased opinion. It’s objectively good. The album will be dropping early next year. The CD release party is going to open with a power hour concert so look for that coming in 2010!
Until then, take a look around at the new site. My bio used to be “Ali Spagnola makes pop art and art pop. She is a drinking composer with a music problem” but now I have a real one with a pretty much truthful history of my music so take a look. There’s also a Press section where people talk all nice about my music which is swell. And don’t forget to stop by the Store and give me all your money.
